For all who are joining us for this festive travel,buckle-up as you will soon be experiencing paradise on earth. We know you are  ready for an escape, so we identified areas and niches that will offer you that and more.

Our days and nights will be broken down to different adventures and experiences as follows:

Day 1 Arrival at Casablanca

We arrive in the largest most beautiful city in Morocco, Casablanca, here we will be received by our local host and set out for an exquisite dinner , breathing in the air of a different land, welcome to Morocco bucketlisters!

Day 2 Rabat & City Tour

Our second day will have us  visit the famous Hassan ii Mosque ,the mosque that sits at the edge of the sea is known for housing the tallest Minaret in both Morocco and the world. Right after we will stroll through the Boulevard De la Corniche, the Beach Promenade area “Morocco’s Miami’ as its popularly known. After we will experience and explore the Medieval Chellah Necroplis , Romah , the Islamic ruins and enter through the enormous Bab Oudaia gate leading to Kasbah des Ouidaias. The next visit will be the 20th-century Andalusian Garden to relax as we view the Mausoleum of Mohamed V and close in our day 2.

Day 3 Blue City (Chefchaouen)

We will enjoy an early morning scenic drive to Chefchaouen, the area selflessly offers a mountainous landscape that’s untouched since the 15th century, we will then head to the Plaza Outa el-Hammam and have a stop at the main plaza before stopping over for lunch to some exquisite restaurants (we recommend cheerful dressing for this adventure). After,we will have an option of trekking up the hills to the city walls to access the rooftop and admire the oh-so satisfying view over the blue city, later we will ascend a path to the White Spanish Mosque which is a great spot to catch the sunset right behind the mountains.

Day 4&5 (Meknes & Fes)

Now that we have had a feel of Morocco we are set to dive in to more indulging activities . We will be setting out to the Roman Ruins at Volubilis, a detour that takes you away from the bustle of Meknes. Meknes offers two areas of vivid interest the imperial city and the Medina, after a remarkable outdoor venture and picturesque reward from Meknes we will end our day at Fes.

It’s time to recollect and have nature guide you as we take to climbing the small hills that will lead us to Merenid Tombs. We will take to the tombs in the evening as not only do the city lights offer a paradise feel, the view is out of the norm and the harmonies of worship as called by the Muezzin are assured to be soothing. We then close our day 5 by returning to Medina, a day well spent.

Day 6 Middle Atlas to Merzouga

Will Morocco count as Morocco with a no desert visit? It’s a no-brainer! On the 6th day we will kick off early and cross over the Middle Atlas via a cedar forest into the desert region. The road to the desert region offers beautiful towns that are worth a stop-over. We will enjoy a short lunch excursion in Midelt popularly termed as the “Apple City’.

The beauty in the area is betokened by the nearby River Moulouya which allows for orchards to grow in the desert. We will then carry on to the Tizi-n-Talremt and into the Ziz Valley. Along the road are some fortified houses ‘Ksars’ built by merchants to protect precious wares like gold, salt and spices.

We will then pass through Erfoud a busy market known for its Date festival and Fossil mining. Our final stop is the famous Erg Chebbi ,an extensive sand dune sea that extends more than 200m in height, the dune and its tallness changes color depending on the timing of day and guess what,  its most vibrant at sunset (how sublime.) We will then sleep at a beautiful desert Riad in Merzouga  as we await the next venture.

Day 7 Sahara Desert

The famous camel-back rides are upon us. On this day we are set to experience the sea of sand on camel-backs following a footpath of real nomads. The landscape is really  a brag of what nature offers and more. The adventure will take us across the 30Km circle wide Dunes of Erg Chebbi. We will close this day at a Desert Oasis, where we will enjoy a radiant dinner as we experience traditional music and a sleep-over in a nomad camp, surreal!

Day 8 Dades Valley

On this day we shall arise early to catch the unmissable sunrise at the dunes before we make our way back to the hotel for breakfast.After preparations we will take to the roads to cross the Palm-lined valleys of Tourog & Tinjdad to arrive at the spectacular Todra Gorge. Here we will have lunch at the local restaurants and later set off back to our accommodation at Dades Gorge.

Day 9 Ouarzazate

A good day for a walk in the gorge then after we set off to view the nomad caves. We will continue through El Kelaa Magona, Valley of the Roses and the beautiful Skoura Oasis to arrive  at Ouarzazate.

Day 10 Essaouira

If you are looking for an area with a ‘fisherman’s charm ‘we found it. Essaouira sits on the Atlantic coast and is highly betokened with a remarkable atmosphere  and the waters creating  a calm & tranquil along the streets. The sublime nature in this area is equally served by the white and blue Andalusian buildings, almost giving off a heaven on earth kind of feel, with the fishing sailing across the horizon. The natural light and warmth of the sun, the cold calming water, the soft sand under your feet..time for the beach life!

Day 11 Essaouira (Free Day)

Still at the heaven of what nature offers, you have your free time to enjoy the city, from the citadel, the city walls, the Medina , the port, grilling your own fish experience.. you’ll be spoilt for choices…just do not forget your camera!

Day 12 The High Atlas

Now that we are done with the beach it is time to face the mountains. Our destination is Imlil. Imlil is a Berber village, located in the foothills of the Atlas mountains. It lies 140 meters  (5,700 feet) above sea level and is situated about 65 km ( 40 miles) south of Marrakech. We will spend the night at a beautiful lodge in the village.

Day 13 Mount Toubkal/Tamsoult Waterfalls

An indulging natural walk through this easy to climb mountain with simple villages,farms & waterfalls to enjoy.

Mount Toubkal Peak Hike (Highest in Northern Africa)

At the lodge we will be met by a mule crew that will ferry our belongings to the mountains.From here we will be guided through small Berber villages. The trail then passes the mountain shrine of Sidi Chamharouch . We will enjoy a parked lunch before stopping at a refuge 10,500 feet above level, here we will enjoy a tasty ,mint tea,hot shower to wash away the dust and relax in preparation of the next day.

Day 14 Marrakech

We will start as early as 5:30 a.m to ascend the mountain. The climb gets steeper for around 4 hours to the summit . Fruits and snacks will be provided for energy as we hike and take in the view of the Atlas Mountains.Once at the summit we will have a 45 minutes rest, here we will take pictures and enjoy being on top of the highest mountain in North Africa, before we take the same route back down.  Upon arrival  back in the huts we will have lunch then follow the same hike back to Imlil, then from here we will drive back to Marrakech.

Day 15  Marrakech Free Day

Nicknamed red city for the obvious red sandstone city walls and buildings. Marrakech is a major economic center and we will be getting ourselves around Marrakech’s bustling Jemaa el-Fna Square, the Souks (markets)  which are to the north, the Koutoubia Mosque and Gardens to the west and the Kasbah area with the Saadian Tombs, Bahia Palace & El Badi Place are to the south.

We will uniquely tour Medina through  a horse drawn carriage (famously known as caleche). Tour through the Fondouks-medieval inns that provide merchants and travelers with shelter and supplies.We will the find our way to the Koutoubia Mosque and take a break from the heat in the gardens amid fountains and palms. Although the Mosque can’t be accessed by non-Muslims ,it’s worth checking it’s foundations and minaret.

Towards the evening we will experience Jemaa el Fna come alive with musicians, story-tellers, acrobats,dancers & snake charmers. We will then wander the many rows of food stalls, then later grab a bite through the many cafes that sit above the square as we view the show below.

Day 16 Fly Out Day

Every good thing has an end and on this day we bid the beauty that is Marrakech goodbye. We will head back to Casablanca, but as our flight is much later you could explore more of the city, you can even follow in the footsteps of Ingrid Bergman and Humphrey Bogart at Rick’s Cafe,which recreates the famous scene in the legendary film, Casablanca!
