Itinerary

Day One: 9th March
You will meet with our crew very early in the morning at 0500hrs for departure at 0530hrs. Kindly keep time as we need to load bags onto the roof rack. Out trip will begin with a drive to Engineer in Nyandarua County for park check in. We will then drive to Mutarakwa forest station to begin the climb after sorting out the luggage with porters. You are requested to combine your sleeping bags with other climbers and bring a proper rucksack as the porters do not possess any. You can also talk to our team for help on this. The climb for the first day will take us through the forest to the moorland where we will set up camp on the river for the night. Overnight in the Bundus in shared tents with dinner provided.

Day Two: 10th March
We will arise for breakfast very early in the morning before breaking camp and embarking on the summit attempt. The views are great from the Moorland full of tussock grass. We will get to the summit and take photos and a snack break before commencing the long walk down to the forest station for transport back to Nairobi.
