Mudathon & Sky Run Meru Edition
The Mudness Returns
The Mt. Kenya, Meru Mudathon & Sky Run is an adventure-based sporting event that forms the second edition of the Mudathon Series. The event follows a successful first edition at Ndunda Falls in Embu’s Njukiri forest on 31st July 2021. The event is aimed to give all Fun Outdoor Lovers and adrenaline-filled runners a challenge out of their comfort zones. The event will feature a Mudrun course, a mountain trail run, and a bonfire party to crown the day.
The event will be happening at the Kenya School of Adventure & Leadership (KESAL) in Timau.
Date: 20th November 2021
Arrival & Registration: 0700hrs-0900hrs
Sky Run: 0800hrs
Mudathon Course: 0930hrs
Sky Run: 10km, 20Km forest run on steep mountain trails.
Mudathon: 20 Military Standard obstacles challenge.

PS: Make your travel/drop-off arrangements to CBD the night before. Late participants will
be left with no refunds.
What To Carry
- Running Clothes and shoes. For the Mudahon, please bring those that you are willing to let go of.
- Gym gloves for the wooden obstacles.
- Change of clothes for after the run.
- Toiletries and towel for freshening up after.
- Sleeping bag or extra shawl if camping.
- Evening party wear. The bonfire party will be at the KESAL grounds.
- Preferred drinks & Refreshments.
- Waterproof GPS Sports Watch
- Warm clothing. Warm pants, jackets, or hoodies.

To get these items ready at the venue kindly pay in advance. The rest are guaranteed to pick the items after the run. Courier charges to be borne by the Participant.
Race Pack Collection
All race packs (Participants Bibs and other identification) will be collected from a designated point in Nairobi. You are required to organize pickup via 0729 995059.
Our aid stations are manned by marshals where you get access to water and or refreshments on the trail. The marshals can also be alerted in case of any medical support or if you Do not finish.
Refunds, Transfers & Switches
Entry fees are not refundable under any circumstance, race registrations are not transferable to other participants.
