Namibia To Cape Town Family Odyssey

WINDHOEK TO CAPE TOWN ODYSSEY
Few countries in Africa can match Namibia’s sheer natural beauty. The country’s name derives from its (and the world’s) oldest desert, the Namib, and there are few more stirring desert realms on the planet – from the stunning sand sea and perfect dead-tree valleys at Sossusvlei to the otherworldliness of sand dunes plunging down to the ocean at Sandwich Harbour and the Skeleton Coast.
Expedition Itinerary
Day One (27th Dec): Fly into Windhoek
Our trip starts with a flight to Windhoek, Namibia. Transfer from the airport to the camp to arrive in time for lunch, check in, and settle in for the afternoon.
Spend the afternoon relaxing and shopping. A short town tour can show you the highlights of the town.
Day Two (28th Dec): Windhoek to Swakopmund to Walvis bay
Today we travel to the Atlantic coast of Namibia stopping to explore Spitzkoppe peak along the way. Swakopmund is a colonial town established by Germans in 1982. Take time to explore the elegant arts & crafts shops, restaurants, and the coastal beach. Drive to Walvis bay down the coast for the night.

Today we wake up before dawn for one of the highlights of the trip, hiking up Dune 45 in the Sossusvlei Dunes area to watch the sun rise over the Namib Desert.
