Tigoni Tea Trail Run 2025
The Tigoni Tea Trails is the first event of the year in the Bucketlist Adventure Race Series. The series is a set of adventure runs set in different destinations in the country from Limuru to Nairobi to Loldaiga conservancy, Mt. Kenya and finally the northern deserts of Kenya.
Location: Mylily Gardens
Our race village will be set in the prestigious Mylily Gardens. Set in the uplands west of Nairobi, the venue for a high-altitude trail run and bike.
The trails will weave through the surrounding access roads inside the tea plantations with minimal segments being on tar road. The trail winds up at a scenic lake view.

Course Description
5Km Course
This Kid-friendly course is set inside the golf course and follows a nature trail in the forest providing a safe zone devoid of road traffic.
10Km, 20Km, 30Km, 45Km
These routes start from the country club before weaving through the vast plantations within Limuru. The routes occasionally follow tarmac roads to connect between farms. We will have marshalls, First aiders and Police stationed at strategic points on the route.
Elevation maps for the routes will be availed as soon as the final route render is done.

How To Get There | Event Venue
The event shuttle is available from Nairobi CBD. If you finish your race early and want to come back before the shuttle, Taxis or public transport are easy to get from the venue for the return leg.

Shuttle Charges: KES 1,500
PS: Race Shuttle availability is subject to required minimum numbers. If numbers are low the price will change to afford the service.
Self-Drive
The venue is easily accessible from Nairobi via Waiyaki Way,Limuru Road, Boma Road and Kiambu Road. The tar road goes all the way to the venue. Ample and secure parking is available on site.

PS: T-shirts and medals for late registrations will be delivered within 30 days after the event. Our race kits are imported so book your ticket early to avoid the wait.

Race Support
The race will have support points at strategic points along the route for hydration and fruits. For environmental reasons, we will recommend runners to come with a refillable running bottle or use the recyclable paper cups that will be available at the stations (these run out sometimes so rely on your bottle).
A map with support points will be shared closer to the event.
Health & Safety
We will run an emergency station with an ambulance on the race day. We advise all runners to have this number in case of anything.

Showers
Showers are available after the race for those who would like to freshen up for the day.

There will be food and drinks on sale by Limuru Country Club. Sit back and relax after the event.
Fun & Festive
We will have various fun activities to keep you entertained at the race village including Bowling Green, Board Games, Giant Game Props as well as DJ music. Plan to stay on!
