A pleasant Village Outing at Fort Smith
A short 15Km drive from Westlands is a quiet and beautiful village famous for being pivotal to the start of the British rule in Kenya. It was a historical British colonial outpost and a courthouse where freedom fighter Waiyaki wa Hinga was tried and sentenced to exile. The old buildings are still present. Around these areas is a vast trail of scenic farms and riverbeds that form the perfect recipe for a good trail route.
